NEWS AND EVENTS

CELEBRATING ITS 12TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY IN THE MIDST OF THE PANDDEMIC. We can only reminisce the good old days we’ve spent working with DNR OFFSHORE wherein we can have a grand celebration for our anniversary, thanksgiving and other similar occasion. This time, and with a prolonged government restriction, we have decided to consolidate all our resources and focus on the forthcoming year. We need to diversify into becoming a top of the line true blue water crew provider. It’s going to be an uphill climb, but what the heck? Were already 12 years in the business. Next year will be a totally different environment for out people. We are going to handle the manning of one of the biggest ship operator in the industry.
MISSION STATEMENT To reclaim our stature of being the leading company in providing the International Maritime and Offshore Industry the Filipino’s inherent dedication, professionalism and passion for their chosen fields.

DNR offshores Cadetship Program, part of the company’s corporate social responsibility was re-launched through the directives of the President & CEO, Engr. Nilfil L. Peralta. Again, due to the still ongoing pandemic, the Training Department can only accept limited candidates, mostly newly graduates from several local universities and academies. We at DNR-OCS truly believe that our seafarers has the ability to become true leaders hence we help them by providing leadership trainings and activities that will develop their skills. We continue to build leaders among our seafarers and provide them with opportunities the best way we can; not only for the success of the company but for the future of our crew. The third batch of Leadership Training was conducted last February 6, 2020 and we plan to continue such activity for our other crew in the next months.

The DNR-OCS team has kicked start the year by developing strong camaraderie through a team building with the theme “Larong Pinoy”. The activity started with a relay of Filipino games such as jump rope, sipa (game of kick), calamansi relay, and sack race followed by a game of batuhan ng bola (dodge ball). Not only did we aim to build trust, encourage communication, and increase collaboration but we also wanted to revive the traditional Filipino games we all know and loved.

The team broke away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoyed a quiet time together at a farm land, camped out in tents, shared stories, sang songs in front of the bon fire and enjoyed the outdoors. We wanted to create opportunities to connect and interact in simple but meaningful ways, outside of a regular office day. Simply spending time together, sharing an experience and working towards a common goal allowed our bonding to happen

The second leg of our Leadership Training was conducted last November 14, 2019. We at DNR-OCS strive to live up to our vision in bringing the best professional seafarers hence we provide them with the needed trainings to broaden their knowledge and give activities to work on their teamwork and bring out the leaders within them. It was a very interactive training which showed the interest of the attendees to become leaders in the future.

We, from DNR-OCS Inc. are very proud to announce the positive result of our first surveillance audit for ISO 9001:2015 conducted by NQA/ANAB last 5th November 2019

The auditor reported NO NCs, NO major NCs and NO observations from the overall findings. There’s a shortlist of opportunities for improvement and many are commendable with our procedural compliance.

The advance planning for the incoming growth integrated in the quality management system are also being emphasized by the auditor as another milestone of success of the company.

As the team collaborates, we can manifest our partners satisfaction and we can ensure to deliver our fully functional trustworthy system.

The end of the year always feels like it is just passing by, we must admit that we always look forward for all the year-end parties and the raffle prizes to given out. Amidst the chaos, we should look back and reflect on the past year. What others think is just a mere showcase of how one can throw the most lavish parties and give expensive prizes but it’s about uniting as a team and thank one another for the hard work done the past year.

Last December 13, 2019 the DNR-OCS team gathered together not only to celebrate the year end but also to thank the creator and the whole team for the past year. It was also a chance for the team to come together as one to strengthen the ties and teamwork with joyful activities. It was a time to celebrate the success of the past year and at the same time learn from the challenges that came with it. We look forward for a productive future with the direction of the management and continuous faith in the Lord.

Annually, DNR-OCS explores the wonders of scenic places and excavates the breath of a familial working environment. These explorations of teamwork, sportsmanship and, collaboration unearths the truth that amidst diversity there is unity. Oneness shared by each individual member throwing and catching “the ball” of DNR-OCS whether at sea side or office site, certainly creates the pedestal of heightened customer focus. Truly, DNR-OCS adheres to relevant and meaningful touch of excellent customer relations to show its love of others; love of work. Such attitude that is wished to come out from this team building season creates a stronger sense of service for all, especially to our crew and others. We cannot undermine the breathtaking de-stressing team building activities that allow wonderful results of efficient internal processes for a more effective office management. Consequently, this without a doubt is beneficial to the stakeholders and within the Industry.

LEADERSHIP – Organizing a group of people to achieve a common goal. There were lots of questions on how to become a good leader, how to do it and can we do it?

This is just a kick start of our first leadership training conducted last 30th August 2019

Not an ordinary company where love is seamlessly felt all throughout the year, has culminated a blessed 2018 at Noah’s Arc, where abundance of resources are stored in the Arc of DNR OCS for a forthright 2019. Indeed, the camaraderie that signals bonding for greater service to its stakeholders is a musical tune of laughter and merriment, which are truly blessings not just this time of the year. Surely, the thunderous laughters shared this year whistled prayers of thanksgiving for whatever has passed and for a better beginning this 2019..
